Hello and welcome!

I'm Neil and I'm a full-time wedding videographer and photographer based in Chester, Cheshire in the North West of England.

I love creating unique, quirky and spontaneous cinematic HD and vintage super 8mm wedding films that truly capture the soul of your big day.

I guess I'm not your "traditional" wedding videographer. Let's be honest, who really wants a 3 hour wedding video anymore?! My cinematic HD  and vintage super 8mm wedding films are shot in a relaxed and natural way (absolutely no staged scenes or posing!) and then edited in a vignette style, which makes them super punchy, exciting and full of life!

I want you to want to watch your wedding film over and over again and unlike wedding videography of old, which would present a detailed account of "everything that happened", I creatively distil the events of the whole day down to their most important, fun and striking moments!

Where are you based? Do you charge travel fees?

I'm based in Chester, Cheshire, in the North West of England but I will happily cover weddings across the whole of the UK and abroad. Travel expenses to venues up to 1.5 hours (each way) from Chester are included. For venues further afield, please add £100. If you're getting married abroad, please contact me for a bespoke quote.

Do you need feeding on the day?

As a wedding is a long and often non-stop working day for me, a vegetarian meal and soft drink served in a separate room to your wedding breakfast would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Do you include the whole wedding ceremony and speeches with full audio?

With standard packages, footage from the ceremony and speeches will be presented in highlight form and set to music in the edit (so no sound is recorded on the day). However, you do have the option of adding on extended footage of the ceremony and speeches with professionally recorded audio included for an additional £300 (or £150 each).

How long will it be before we receive our finished highlight film?

If you are going for the cinematic HD wedding film option, please allow up to 6 weeks for delivery. If your are going for the vintage super 8mm wedding film option, please allow up to 10 weeks. This is because processing and digitising the vintage film at a specialist lab takes a little longer.

How do we book you?

If you'd like to enquire about booking videography for your wedding day, please complete the form on my contact page with as much info as possible and I will be sure to get back to you as soon as I can. To secure a date, I require a booking fee of £400. This booking fee will be taken off your final balance, which must be settled no later than 8 weeks prior to the wedding date please.

How far in advance do we need to book you?

Most couples tend to book their wedding videography 1-2 years in advance of their big day and as you can imagine, peak season dates get snapped up very quickly.

Are you insured?

Yes, I have both professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
